Police investigate Tupelo Park after spray paint vandalization
SUMMARY: Hate symbols, including a swastika, were spray-painted in a Tupelo park on October 1. Yazoo City school bus driver charged after hitting vehicle, injuring child
SUMMARY: A Yazoo City school bus driver, Cathy Donald, was arrested after allegedly hitting a vehicle and injuring a child on October 4. Police Chief Terry Gann reported that the incident occurred when the child opened the back door of their vehicle as the bus was leaving after dropping off students, resulting in the child’s hand being injured. Donald drove away from the scene but was later stopped and tested for drugs and alcohol. She faces charges of felony hit and run and has since been released on her own recognizance.
