Jackson family traumatized after carjacking outside home
SUMMARY: A Jackson family was traumatized after being carjacked in their driveway, captured on security camera. Heather Allen reported they were heading to North Mississippi on May 24 when two armed men approached, demanded keys, and forcibly removed her daughter from the vehicle. Allen has been unable to sleep and feels unsafe at home. The car was found 40 minutes later nearby. Fortunately, her children and grandchildren were unharmed, but the family plans to relocate. A GoFundMe has been set up to support their recovery, and Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade stated that police are actively searching for the suspects.

Three injured in two-vehicle crash in Jones County

Witnesses reported that one vehicle drifted into oncoming traffic, leading to an offset head-on collision. Authorities from the Jones County sheriff’s office and Mississippi Highway Patrol also responded to the scene.
