Jackson crews work to repair traffic lights across city
SUMMARY: In Jackson, multiple traffic lights are out, posing a danger at several intersections. The city is proactively addressing repairs, with updates posted on their Facebook page listing lights that have been fixed or still need maintenance. Mayor Cho Inar Lumba stated that many of the lights are at the end of their life span due to being purchased around the same time. One resident expressed relief but frustration over the delays, highlighting the increased danger from non-functional lights as drivers often neglect to stop. Efforts continue with both in-house and contracted repairs, but a completion time frame remains uncertain.
