Longtime WLOX News personality Barbara Salloum passes away at 89

Barbara hosted โGood Morning South Mississippiโ on WLX for 18 years, starting in 1977, where she highlighted local stories and celebrities. Her funeral is scheduled for Friday, with visitation at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport, followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Our condolences go out to the Salome family.
Barbara had an impact on our lives and all of South Mississippi and will be greatly missed.
