Israel-Hamas War: Egypt proposing 2 day ceasefire | FOX 7 Austin
SUMMARY: Egypt is proposing a two-day ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which would involve the return of four hostages, the release of some Palestinian prisoners, and increased humanitarian aid to Gaza. Fighting continues in the region, with Israel targeting Hezbollah and suffering casualties in Gaza. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) claim to have captured 100 Hamas suspects in a hospital raid. Positive discussions about the release of hostages took place between U.S. and Israeli officials and the Qatari Prime Minister, while tensions remain high following Israeli strikes on Iran. Additionally, the Israeli Parliament voted to restrict UN operations aiding Palestinians, further aggravating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Humidity gradually returns, feeling more like spring in the days ahead ~ Mia
SUMMARY: After a chilly start, temperatures in San Antonio will reach the upper 60s with mostly cloudy skies and returning humidity. Expect a high of 67°F with winds from the southeast at 5-10 mph. Spring-like conditions are expected by Monday afternoon, with highs in the mid-70s through Christmas Eve. A 30% chance of isolated rain will occur in the evening on Christmas Eve, particularly along and east of I-35. Christmas Day will be sunny with a high of 72°F. A low-pressure system may bring more isolated rain chances later in the week. Stay safe on the roads with possible morning fog Monday and Tuesday.
More cloud cover expected today as the humidity gradually returns. Spring-like temperatures are back starting Monday ahead of a small rain chance on Christmas Eve. Here’s the latest with Mia.

Mother makes desperate plea after AMBER Alert issued for missing Katy teen
SUMMARY: The family of missing 15-year-old Alexa Jones from Katy, Texas, is urgently seeking help after she disappeared over a week ago. An Amber Alert was issued after Alexa was last seen on December 13 around midnight. Her mother emotionally described the family’s distress, recalling a happy movie night before Alexa went missing. Alexa emailed her family, stating she was fine and needed time alone, but they haven’t heard from her since. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office, alongside Texas EquuSearch, has intensified efforts to locate her, with volunteers actively searching for clues. The family pleads for her safe return.

Punishing rushing attack leads Texas to berth in Peach Bowl with 38-24 win over Clemson
SUMMARY: Texas defeated Clemson 38-24 in the College Football Playoff first round, rushing for 295 yards and four touchdowns. Jaydon Blue led with 146 yards, including two touchdown runs. Quintrevion Wisner added 110 yards and two scores. Texas outgained Clemson 292-76 on the ground, averaging 6.4 yards per carry. The defense delivered a crucial goal-line stand and totaled three sacks, seven tackles for loss, and eight pass breakups. Quarterback Quinn Ewers passed for 202 yards and a touchdown. Despite injuries to offensive linemen Cam Williams and Jake Majors, Texas advances to face Arizona State in the Peach Bowl.
