Investigation underway after shooting in Lee County

SUMMARY: An investigation is ongoing a shooting in Lee County, as reported by Sheriff Jim Johnson. The incident occurred Sunday morning of Guntown, with deputies responding to a call around 8:30 regarding a possible shooting near Road 231. Evidence of a fight was found at the scene. One witness with severe injuries was taken to a local hospital, while another witness suffered a hand injury and left the scene.
