Inside the sex trafficking fight and the victims most targeted
SUMMARY: Foster care children are often targeted by traffickers, as highlighted by Fox Files investigator Chris Hayes. Recent trafficking incidents at the Renaissance Hotel and River City Casino involved missing teens from foster care and minors, revealing concerning patterns. Statistics show that 78-80% of trafficking survivors have spent time in foster or adoptive care. Training for police, healthcare professionals, and citizens focuses on identifying and assisting victims, emphasizing the importance of intervention while ensuring personal safety. Survivors require ongoing support to avoid re-victimization, highlighting the need for community awareness and involvement in preventing trafficking.

Two recent sex trafficking busts – one at the Renaissance Hotel in April 2023 and another at River City Casino this past February – reveal a pattern.

Trump: I had a perfect cognitive test
SUMMARY: Former President Trump announced he took a successful cognitive test, claiming he achieved a perfect score. He noted positive results from his recent physical examination and expressed pride in the country’s economic growth, emphasizing that the U.S. has become much richer. Trump criticized past administration policies for allowing unchecked immigration and inflation, asserting that such issues must be remembered. He pledged to implement tariffs on various imports, including semiconductors and pharmaceuticals, aiming to bolster domestic production and reduce reliance on foreign nations, particularly China, for essential goods. Overall, he conveyed a forward-looking vision for America’s future.

President Trump spoke briefly with reporters as he boarded Air Force One over the weekend.
Trump said his physical and cognitive tests went extremely well.
“So I think most of you have seen they released my physical physical on Friday, and I understand it was a very good report, and that was very perfect. And I took a cognitive exam, and I would challenge anybody here to beat those marks, because I have a perfect mark. Were you impressed by that?”
On markets seeing ambiguity with tariff back and forths.
“Oh they’re shouldn’t be ambiguity. We have a tremendous country. We have a country that’s much richer today than it was a few months ago. We have a financial system that’s very respected, and we’re going to do great. And we were taken advantage of and ripped off by every country all over the world, almost just about they laughed at us. We were run by foolish people, and they took advantage of our country, and we’re just not going to let that happen anymore.”

Insects as food? ‘We are largely ignoring the largest group of organisms on earth’
SUMMARY: As egg prices rise, some suggest insects as a protein alternative. At the University of Delaware, students in an “insects as food” class are experimenting with ingredients like worms and bugs. Insects such as silkworms and sago worms are rich in protein and eco-friendly. While some students are enthusiastic about dishes like worm chili and cricket granola, others find the idea less appetizing. Experts argue that incorporating insects into Western diets could address food sustainability issues, but for now, they recommend introducing bugs slowly in processed foods to gain acceptance.
