SUMMARY: Three days after an EF-2 tornado struck Bridgeton, residents are still recovering from the damage, particularly in the St. Gerard Park and St. James neighborhoods, which have been hit by tornadoes three times in 14 years. Homes, including one on Scotch Drive, suffered significant destruction, with trees damaging garages and roofs. While many homes are still without power, some residents, like 89-year-old Glenell Hull, were spared from significant damage. Neighbors have been helping each other clean up, and local facilities like the Bridgeton Recreation Center are offering resources. The tornado left a lasting impact, but the community is coming together.
