Dozens of business owners showed up for Theta Sigma Omega’s first annual “Pink Market,” which aimed to promote sisterhood and increase equity among women business owners. The event was hosted by the Hattiesburg chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and featured 16 women-owned businesses offering something for everyone. Jessica Magee, a participant, noted that the event aimed to support local women entrepreneurs and increase their visibility to the public, promoting and encouraging them.

Jackson Democratic mayoral primary heads to runoff
