In-person absentee voting begins Saturday, October 26th
SUMMARY: In-person absentee voting starts this weekend, with circuit clerk offices open from 8 AM to noon on October 26th. The final day for in-person absentee voting is November 2nd. For mail-in ballots, they must be postmarked by November 5th and received by a circuit clerk office by November 13th to be counted.

Hancock and Our Lady Academy wins back-to-back Girls Golf State Champions; Stone's Carissa Hester
SUMMARY: This week, several girls golf programs competed in the state championship, with notable achievements. Hancock girls golf secured the 6A championship, with all four team members finishing in the top 16; sophomore Carson Alti was the individual medalist. Coach Chip Borg became Hancock High School’s all-time winningest coach. In 5A, Ston High’s Carissa Hester won the individual title at Whispering Pines. Additionally, the lady Crescent of Our Lady Academy defended their title in class 1, marking their second state championship in a week. Congratulations to all participants, and best of luck to the boys teams competing next week!

The farm’s operating hours are Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM, until the fruit sells out. Valerie mentioned that while large orders require advance notice, most produce is available for immediate pickup at 14380 Duckworth Road. Visitors are encouraged to come and try the delicious fruit.
