SUMMARY: Hundreds of activists rallied in North Texas to protest immigration crackdowns during President Trump’s second term, gathering at Dallas City Hall and other cities. Many attendees expressed concern about deportations and shared personal stories highlighting the emotional toll on immigrant families. Activists like 18-year-old Gabriella Barrera emphasized their commitment to fighting for their parents’ rights, citing fears that recent ICE arrests have made people hesitant to engage in public life. Governor Abbott supports Trump’s deportation efforts, ordering state agencies to cooperate. The protests reflect a collective demand for the rights and safety of immigrant communities amidst growing fears.
