IHL system put on federal monitoring after blowing deadline to submit annual audit

The IHL will also have to submit new academic programs for review before approval. This penalty is a concern for small private colleges but is seen as a “slap on the wrist” for the public system. Six other universities in Mississippi are also under heightened cash monitoring.
