ICC shows off renovations to old dorms
SUMMARY: Obama Community College students will soon return to newly renovated dorms, Monroe and Sheffield Halls. Monroe Hall, constructed in 1968, underwent a $2 million renovation to transform it from double to single occupancy, accommodating both male and female students. Sheffield Hall, the largest dorm with 296 beds for female students, has had half of its space remodeled, with the remaining renovations expected to complete next summer at a cost exceeding $1 million. School leaders express enthusiasm for these renovations, as they aim to better meet the diverse needs of their student population.
Itawamba Community College (ICC) cut the ribbon on renovations to two of its existing dormitories.

Two arrested for burglary in Calhoun County
