Milton is tracking towards Tampa, where it may weaken but could still produce a significant storm surge. The storm has intensified by 95 mph since becoming a tropical storm just yesterday, posing risks of major home damage and extended power outages. Tampa Bay appears to be the primary target for severe weather impacts.
