Faith Time: Lessons of the Prodigal Son
SUMMARY: In a recent discussion on faith, Justin Driver of Forward Church explored the story of The Prodigal Son, emphasizing the temptation to seek punishment for foolishness instead of offering redemption. He noted that punishment belongs to God, as we all deserve grace instead of judgment. Driver highlighted that God is a God of new beginnings, capable of transforming our failures for His glory. He emphasized the importance of forgiveness, stating that to truly be forgiven, we must forgive others. Although forgiveness doesn’t always lead to reconciliation, it remains crucial for healing and extending grace in our lives.
