The Huntington’s Disease Team Hope Walk is coming up on Saturday, May 20 in Flowood.For Heather Wilmoth, whose husband is mid-stage in the disease, the walk is a labor of love.“For those who aren’t familiar with Huntington’s disease, it’s a neurodegenerative terminal disease that’s like ALS, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s all rolled into one,” Wilmoth said on The Gallo Show. “This is our way of raising money to centers of excellence, which we have one right here in Mississippi at UMMC.
