SUMMARY: In Shambly, Georgia, a protest for immigrant rights is ongoing, with hundreds advocating against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrests. The demonstration began around noon along Buford Highway, where protesters blocked roads to express their fear and solidarity amidst a recent wave of deportations, intensified by the Trump administration’s policies. Organizer Joseph Pastor highlighted that many participants were young individuals supporting their families. The protesters aim to unite against attacks on immigrants, emphasizing that such actions affect the entire working class. Police are present, yet the atmosphere remains peaceful as demonstrators continue to voice their calls for unity and support.

Emotions are running high in Chamblee where hundreds of protesters took to the streets in support of immigrant rights and to protest mass deportation.
