HSFT Stop #23: East Webster
SUMMARY: East Webster football successfully transitioned to class 3A in the 2023 season, achieving a commendable 10 wins. Head coach Ron Price praised the team’s efforts and expressed pride in their accomplishments. The Wolverines aim to advance past the third round of the playoffs, a hurdle they’ve faced in three of the last four seasons. Their motto, “Something to prove,” reflects the determination of players like senior Zwondrikus Coleman, who believes they can exceed expectations. Junior Cooper Stidham will take over as quarterback, having learned from former player Kaleb Warnock. The season starts at home against Eupora on August 30.
