SUMMARY: Stargazers in Mississippi can still view Comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas (Comet A3) in October, with the last opportunity for naked-eye visibility on Friday, October 26. The comet is best seen 15 to 45 minutes after sunset, located between the constellations Sagittarius and Scorpio, approximately 10 degrees above the horizon. While it shone brightly like the North Star until October 16, its brightness is fading as it moves away from Earth. Observers can enhance their viewing experience with binoculars or a small telescope. This is a rare chance to see Comet A3, last visible around 80,000 years ago.
