MCC's Precision Machining Program receives donation from Gorilla Mill
SUMMARY: Meridan Community College’s Jean Hall Advanced Manufacturing Center received a significant donation from Guerilla Mill, a Wisconsin-based tool manufacturer known for high-quality cutting tools. Program Coordinator Brian Warren stated that this contribution is crucial for the program, especially amid rising inflation and material costs, as well as an increasing student enrollment. The donation, valued in the thousands, greatly alleviates the budget, allowing the center to prioritize the purchase of materials instead of cutting tools. The Gan HW Center trains students in precision machining and metalwork and is located in the MCC Riley Workforce Development Center.
