Other staples like beans, lunch meat, and peanut butter were priced around $1.48 to $6.28. Experts suggest buying frozen produce and generic brands to save money, and sticking to shopping lists to avoid overspending. A comparison between H-E-B and Walmart showed slight price differences, with H-E-B costing $49.94 and Walmart $48.82. Prices will continue to be monitored.
