Houston begins renovations to two more youth baseball diamonds

City leaders have allocated $100,000 to improve and revamp the local baseball fields. The demolition work has already begun, and the project is set to be completed in time for the 2024 season. Each diamond will receive new grass, dugouts, field stops, and fencing. The investment in youth sports aims to create a lasting legacy for future generations who can proudly say they played on upgraded fields. Mayor Parker even hopes to hold concerts at the park once the renovations are finished.

Anderson, who set several Bulldog records, credits her improvement to her coach, Cat Stratton, and her Christian faith. Now a rookie, she is focused on learning from her more experienced teammates, Katie Lond and Jordan Bloomer, while remaining motivated by her faith.
