House painter rescues man from house fire in Williamson County

SUMMARY: A man’s was saved by house painter Joshua Schaefer in Franklin when he noticed smoke from a burning two-story home. Schaefer saw the homeowner inside, seemingly disoriented, and in to , supported by neighbors who forced open the door to pull him out. The fire, believed to have started accidentally at the back of the house, was aggressive, causing explosions that shattered windows. Firefighters arrived quickly but the flames took over an hour to control. While the homeowner was safe, their dog remains missing. October is Fire Prevention Month, prompting reminders to check smoke detector batteries.

Last Impact Plastics employee still missing two weeks after historic flooding
