The $150,000 project is funded by the Mississippi Outdoor Stewardship Trust, prompted by the need for amenities after Hurricane Katrina. The boat launch, frequently utilized by residents, will facilitate easier access to the Bay of St. Louis and the Jordan River, expected to be completed within four weeks, just in time for summer.
