SUMMARY: The Hinds County Resiliency and Recovery Program, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act, has provided a total of $10.5 million to support businesses in Hinds County during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program has helped 80 businesses and created 100 job opportunities since May 30th. Tiffany Kelly, owner of Creative Imagination Scholars, stated that without this program, her business would have struggled to support single mothers and may have had to reduce staff hours. There is no deadline to apply for the program, but there is a set funding limit, and it will end once the funds are exhausted.
