Here’s how the Hollywood writers strike is affecting Mississippi

While some productions in Mississippi are on hold, others are moving forward due to locked script statuses. Film production in the state, which reached historical highs in 2022, has not been as impacted as California. Still, the situation could change if the actors’ strike authorized for July 1st goes into effect. Unscripted content, such as the show “Hometown,” has not been impacted by the strike. No agreement is expected until August at the earliest.

Bricen Rivers pleads not guilty to murder of ex-girlfriend Lauren Johansen
