Haze, chlorine smell expected in parts of metro Atlanta during Conyers chemical plume
SUMMARY: Residents in Metro Atlanta may notice a chlorine scent or haze due to a chemical plume from Rockdale County, with winds expected to shift it closer to the city. In response, Atlanta Public Schools has moved all outdoor activities indoors for the day, although athletic events will continue as planned. Tuesday will start dry with temperatures in the 30s/40s, but snow is expected as temperatures drop into the 20s. Most areas will see snow, but accumulation will vary: up to 0.5” north of I-20, 0.5”-1.5” around Augusta, and 1.5”-2.5” south of Waynesboro. Be prepared for power outages and slippery roads.

Hastings earns Masters invitation at Latin America Amateur Championship
