Haunted maze aims to bring Christmas to kids in need

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and the Community Benefit Committee are partnering with businesses to Christmas gifts for 200 foster in need. They have created a haunted maze at the Columbus Fairgrounds, where visitors can enjoy spooky fun while also supporting a good cause. The maze is expected to attract thousands of attendees, with the goal of raising $20,000 for the children in the community. County jail trustees are also involved in helping decorate and construct the maze.
