This year, the performance features 70 dancers, including 36 from the company. A new highlight is an expanded scene with the Snow Queen’s army of evil ice, offering more dramatic flair. The ballet, a winter tale of good versus evil, is performed Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at Tupelo High School.

The Civic Ballet in Tupelo is performing “Snow Queen” on Nov. 23-24.
