Hattiesburg Police Department recruiting
SUMMARY: The runoff election in Hattiesburg, Mississippi will take place on August 29. The Hattiesburg Police Department is currently looking for recruits for its next class. Applicants must be 21 years or older, have a high school diploma or college degree, and pass all background checks. If passed, they will move on to a 17-week training boot camp where they will be tested throughout the entire training academy. Numerous tests required by the state of Mississippi are included. The outcome of the recruitment process is hoped to be successful.
Those who apply and pass all background checks will then go through a civil service exam and a physical fitness exam.
