Happening May 29: Jeepin' the Coast begins
SUMMARY: Next week, Jeep enthusiasts will celebrate “Jeep the Coast” in South Mississippi, offering a weekend of family-friendly events. Jennifer Moran, a Jeep lover, highlights the event‘s activities, including a kids’ scavenger hunt, an adult poker run, beach crawls, concerts, and fireworks, mainly happening in Long Beach. The event kicks off in the city of Pass Christian and spans the coast, with “Thankful Thursday” raising funds for local charities. Over 2,100 Jeeps are already registered, expecting to reach 3,000. Vendor Village will feature various Jeep-related products. The event runs from May 29th to June 2nd.
Jeepin’ the Coast is rolling across South Mississippi streets next week, and there’s plenty of fun for everyone.

First responders rush to 2 separate wrecks in Stone County
SUMMARY: This morning in Stone County, Mississippi, First Responders were occupied with two traffic accidents near the same location. The first accident occurred around 9:00 a.m. on Highway 49 South at Wire Road. Shortly after clearing that incident, another crash happened just 500 feet away in the northbound lane. Rescuers responded, airlifting one of the victims and assisting a total of seven individuals. Both accidents are currently under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
