SUMMARY: Kentucky State Police have identified a body found on Interstate 75 as Jeffrey Couch, the man accused of shooting at cars and wounding five people two weeks ago. His body was discovered in dense brush behind Exit 49 on Wednesday and has been confirmed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officials are still awaiting results from a toxicology report.

SUMMARY: A verdict has been reached in the murder case of Melvin Waters, 48, who was convicted of second-degree murder and possessing a weapon as a felon. The incident occurred in August 2022 at a gas station in North Nashville, where Waters admitted to fatally shooting 25-year-old Kendrick Frasier, who later died at the hospital.
