SUMMARY: Shared Health, a Ridgeland-based health insurance company, is partnering with Mississippi nonprofit food bank Extra Table to assist needy families for Thanksgiving. They are donating 9,000 chickens and 12,600 boxes of Louisiana Fish Fry Cornbread Stuffing Mix to 59 food pantry partners across five cities for the Henny 500 event. Each pantry will receive around 150 chickens and 210 boxes of stuffing mix. Extra Table’s Executive Director, Martha Allen, expressed gratitude for Shared Health’s support in combating hunger.
