Gulfport robbery suspect facing additional charge after trying to escape police station through ceiling tiles
SUMMARY: Miki Mussa Ibrahim, 36, was arrested by the Gulfport Police Department after committing an armed robbery on East Pass Road. Despite escaping custody briefly upon arrival at the police department by slipping his handcuffs and later attempting to flee through the ceiling tiles in the interview room, Ibrahim was recaptured each time. A firearm and his identifying documents were found during a SWAT search of his residence. He faces two counts of armed robbery, possession of a weapon after a felony conviction, and one count of escape, with a $350,000 bond set. The police encourage anyone with information to come forward.
