Gulfport Police Department offering youth summer camps

Want to get the kids out of the house this summer? The Gulfport Police Department is offering four camps for your kids to be a part of.

Children can learn how to cast a line or make a hole-in-one with the department. GPD will have a fishing and golfing camp this summer.

Each camp allows 15 children to enroll. Children must be between the ages of eight and 13 for golfing and nine and 13 for fishing.

It is completely free to register and supplies are provided.

19 people facing charges in George County drug bust

SUMMARY: In George County, Miss., 19 individuals face felony drug charges following “Operation Rotten Egg,” a multi-county investigation involving federal and local law enforcement. Of the 19 charged, 14 are in custody, while five remain at large. St. Patrick Boys Golf team invited to PGA High School National Invitational

Southern Miss hosts first Spring Football game under Head Coach Charles Huff
