Carly Gregg murder trial winding down
SUMMARY: Doctor Andrew Clark testified in the defense case, diagnosing the accused, Greg, with Bipolar II disorder, potentially hereditary due to her father’s similar diagnosis. Clark revealed Greg had experienced auditory hallucinations since childhood, describing a male voice that provided elitist affirmations. On the day of the murder, Greg claimed her mind went blank after walking her dogs. Three additional witnesses, including a close friend, corroborated her reports of hearing voices pre- and post-murder. The prosecution is set to present more witnesses, including their own psychiatric expert, as the trial continues, with possible sentencing of 20 years to life for Greg if convicted.
