Gulfport mayor announces commission in charge of creating new city flag

Mayor Billy Hewes has established the Gulfport Flag Commission for this purpose. The commission includes vice chair Glenn East, Mississippi State Rep. Jeffrey Hulum, City Council President Rusty Walker, and others, with Kameron Weaver as a student representative. Bricen Rivers pleads not guilty to murder of ex-girlfriend Lauren Johansen
