Gulfport High School students arrested for having gun on campus
SUMMARY: Two students at Gulfport High School were arrested for having a firearm on campus. The 15-year-old and 16-year-old students are each being charged with possession of a firearm by a minor at school. School resource officers were informed by other students about the possible presence of a weapon on campus, leading to an investigation and the seizure of the gun. The Gulfport Police Department praised the students who reported the firearm, stating that their actions demonstrated a commitment to the safety of their fellow students. The juveniles have been processed and taken to a detention center.

SUMMARY: The 28th annual Double Decker Arts Festival in Oxford will be held on April 25-26, featuring Mississippi cuisine, live music, and art.
