GRIND TO GLORY: The Houston Hilltoppers are hungry to get back to the north half championship game

SUMMARY: Good evening and welcome back to WTV 9 . I’m Jason Williams. ‘s Grind to Glory, sponsored by Southern Housing, features the Houston Hill Toppers. Over the past two seasons, the Hill Toppers have only lost four , with two of those losses in the North Half Championship . Under head coach Baylor Dampier, now in his fifth year, they’ve made the playoffs every season. Despite losing key players like running back Jaylen Washington and quarterback Steele Brooks, the team is eager to conquer new challenges and aim for the championship. They will start their season against the Columbus Falcons.

The Houston Hilltoppers have made the north half championship game in each of the last two seasons. This year they are still motivated to get to that point and beyond.
