SUMMARY: “Grind to Glory,” sponsored by Southern Housing, continues with a preview of the East Webster Wolverines, who are entering their second year in the 3A classification. Last season, the Wolverines achieved 10 wins and reached the quarterfinals. Under Head Coach Ron Price’s seven-year tenure, they have consistently made playoff appearances, advancing to the third round in three of the last four seasons. This year’s team aims to improve further with strong offensive performance, evidenced by last season’s high-scoring games. The primary challenge now is determining the starting quarterback, a role hotly contested. Their season kicks off against Yur High School in the Maroon Bowl.
