The Calhoun City Wildcats had an impressive season last year, winning games by an average of 33 points but ultimately losing in the third round of the playoffs. This year, they’re returning nine defensive and seven offensive starters, aiming for another dominant run. Head Coach MD Jennings, in his fifth year, emphasizes hard work with the mantra “nobody cares, work harder.” Despite last season’s success, Jennings urges the team to refocus and create a new identity. The Wildcats are motivated to surpass last season’s achievements, beginning their campaign on August 29th against Coffeeville.

M.D. Jennings is entering his fifth year as the head coach of the Calhoun City Wildcats. So far in his era, Jennings has led his program to two district titles.
