Southern Miss School of Performing and Visual Arts Dance Gala Set for March 27-28
SUMMARY: The University of Southern Mississippi’s School of Performing and Visual Arts Dance program will present its annual Dance Gala on March 27-28 at the Mannoni Performing Arts Center. The concert features original works by guest artists Subathra Subramaniam and Lawrence Jackson, as well as choreography by Southern Miss faculty. Subramaniam blends contemporary dance with Bharatanatyam, while Jackson explores African diaspora dance techniques. The event showcases diverse dance styles, including modern, jazz, and ballet. Tickets are available online or at the door. Admission is $18 for the general public, with discounted prices for students, staff, and military.

New Pearl River Graphic Design Program Claims Top Honors ADDY Awards in Inaugural Year

Introducing our WXXV Student Athlete of the Week, Ocean Springs’ Gracie McDonald!
SUMMARY: Gracie McDonald, the WXXV Student Athlete of the Week from Ocean Springs High School, is a standout softball player and leader on the field. With a .551 batting average, 17 runs, and 27 hits, she excels in center field and contributes to her team’s success. McDonald began playing softball at a young age and embraces a team-first mentality, attributing her passion for the sport to her faith and her teammates.
