Governors push back on federal proposal to move National Guard units | National

The National Guard Association also opposes the move, citing legal and financial concerns. Despite being removed from the House version of the National Defense Authorization Act, the proposal remains in the Senate. Over 100 members of Congress support the governors’ stance against it.
