Goodyear gives thanks to Cooper Tire employees with rides on iconic blimp

SUMMARY: Goodyear is showing its appreciation to employees at the Tupelo Cooper Tire Plant who have worked hard in the aftermath of a tornado that caused serious damage to the facility in April. The company brought the iconic Goodyear Blimp to Tupelo as a way to thank the employees. The plant has since been repaired and is running at almost full capacity. The Goodyear Blimp ride is a special treat for the 1,700 team members who produce around 42,000 tires a day. This gesture is a way to say a big thank you to the resilient employees.
