Commission lists projects for FY 2025
SUMMARY: In 2025, the Hattiesburg Convention Commission is launching several new attractions aimed at enhancing public enjoyment. Key projects include the conversion of the Oola McCard House into a museum, despite construction delays on the MHER Military Vehicle Museum due to material issues. The Hattiesburg Zoo will introduce new animal exhibits and relocate its ticket booth to the front for better accessibility. Additional plans involve creating more parking options during events at Lake Terrace Convention Center to address overflow issues. The commission is also revamping the O Jack Riley Law Office to expand the Sanger Theater’s rehearsal space.

09/20 Highlights: Northeast Jones v. South Jones
