Irving pediatric assistant who inappropriately touched boys showed 'pattern of behavior,' police say
SUMMARY: Angel Nunes, a former medical assistant at Little Spurs Pediatrics in Irving, has been arrested for a second charge of indecency with a child. The latest allegation involves a 9-year-old boy, whom Nunes reportedly took to an exam room away from his mother to perform an unauthorized genitalia test. Nunes, 25, was initially charged on September 5 for fondling a 14-year-old, after which he posted a $100,000 bond. Following the new charge, his bond increased to $300,000. Police believe there may be more victims, as Nunes has a documented pattern of inappropriate behavior with minors.
The 25-year-old is not — and never has been — a physician. His duties were to take vitals. However, police say he used his position to inappropriately touch young boys. The most recent allegation involves a 9-year-old.
