Good Morning Meridian Tori Alvarado's forecast 10/2
SUMMARY: This morning, we observed a beautiful sunrise, although Livingston experienced some fog affecting the commute. Temperatures are in the mid-60s, ideal for sending kids to school, with no major weather disruptions. Expect warmer afternoon highs in the upper 80s, typical for this time of year. Overnight, temperatures will drop to the low 60s. A temperature drop and rain are likely on Friday, but Saturday should be pleasant. Meanwhile, hurricane Kirk is strengthening but will not impact the U.S., while two areas in the Gulf have potential for development. The week‘s outlook includes both showers and cooler temperatures ahead.

SUMMARY: Restoration of the historic Mary H. Hope building is finally underway after years of fundraising by the Meridian Restorations Foundation.
