SUMMARY: Certainly BE SEEING SOME AT SOME POINT TODAY. WE ALSO HAVE A LOW RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER TODAY, WITH ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE. DAMAGING WINDS AND A BRIEF SPIN-UP TORNADO CANNOT BE RULED OUT. TODAY WILL BE UP IN THE LOW 70S, DROPPING OFF INTO THE MID 50S TONIGHT, WITH LOWS IN THE UPPER 50S FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. SUNDAY COOLS OFF INTO THE MID-LOW 50S, SAME FOR MONDAY, BEFORE RISING BACK INTO THE MID 60S BY TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. There are flood warnings in effect for Choctaw and Sumter counties, so it’s important to be mindful of that. Additionally, there is a dense fog advisory in effect until 10 AM this morning, and there may be some river flooding as we move into the weekend. Be prepared for potential severe weather and make sure to pack your raingear.
