GermanFest canceled for 2023 in Gluckstadt
SUMMARY: St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gluckstadt, Mississippi, has announced the cancellation of the 2023 GermanFest. The decision was made due to the rapid growth of Gluckstadt and the need to evaluate how to update the festival and share the church's heritage with the community. Father Matthew Simmons mentioned that there would not be enough parking space to accommodate everyone participating. The church members are hopeful that the festival can be brought back in 2024.
