SUMMARY: Good Thursday morning! I’m meteorologist Justin Horn with your forecast. Expect clear skies today, with morning temperatures in the 60s warming up to the 90s by afternoon. Northerly winds will be mild at 5 to 15 mph. Tonight’s football games will enjoy comfortable, clear weather, with temperatures in the 70s by 9 p.m. Meanwhile, Hurricane Helen is strengthening, reaching potential winds of 120 mph near landfall tonight as a Category 3 storm. It will bring heavy rain to parts of Florida and the Carolinas, but for us, clear skies and warm afternoons will continue into next week.

It’ll be warm this afternoon, but humidity levels remain low.
